We came back home this week to photograph Kelsie and Paul’s stunning wedding day at Younger Ranch here in Colorado Springs. You might remember them from their Red Rocks engagement session only a few months ago. Kelsie actually found us on google after searching for someone who did a limited amount of weddings with great reviews! She reached out, it was an immediate match, and we are so glad that she did. 

We headed back to Tennessee to capture this phenomenal, beautiful, outdoor wedding. Jordan and Brooke’s wedding happened on September 23, 2017 at the GORGEOUS Front Porch Farms near Nashville, Tennessee. It was a warm day, with the sun shining bright, but the sun makes for some fabulous photos. 

Ed and Julie’s September wedding was one for the books! It took place in Morrison, Colorado at the gorgeous Willow Ridge Manor, which has the most amazing views, beautiful balconies, an indoor reception room, and a beautiful area outside for ceremonies.

They did an amazing job choosing decorations. The blue accents and all the sunflowers were symbolic of the couple’s vibrant, fun personalities.

You might remember the gorgeous couple we took engagement pictures of this past winter. We met this sweet Texas couple through some mutual friends we have here in Colorado. They were here for our friends’ wedding and they wanted their engagement pictures done in Colorado. (Because mountains, duh!) Well we thought we just instantly hit it off with Skyler and Brooke, and they must have thought so too because they asked us to come shoot their wedding in Dallas, Texas!  Their August wedding last weekend was nothing but stunning. It was elegant, yet simple, classy, but SO much fun.

Michelle and I know how overwhelming planning a wedding can be since we planned our wedding by ourselves. So, we wanted to put these tips out for everyone who might be doing the same thing! Even if you have a wedding planner, make sure these times line up to what we or your photographer recommends. We thought it would be great to have a resource out there that helps you plan what your wedding day looks like so that you give us (or the photographer you choose) enough time to capture those moments you want perfectly! 

Elizabeth and Aaron share a special place in our hearts because they were the FIRST COUPLE to book us here in Colorado Springs. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a more fun couple to kick off this wedding season.
